Typically sitting within smaller teams in the CFO’s group, these roles are uniquely positioned to support the strategic vision of the company. Many times these individuals have a foundation in investment banking or management consulting.

Key considerations:

  • Ability to build complex models from scratch within Excel; produce accurate projections in a pressure-packed environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills; support leadership and ask insightful questions is critical.

  • Thrive in a fluid environment which often shifts as business evolves



Accounting

A key foundation of any company’s infrastructure,we have significant experience recruiting on all levels from Staff Accountant to Controller, as well as specialists within technical accounting and internal controls.  Often these positions require CPA’s.

Key considerations:

  • Meaningful experience in a similar infrastructure business; individuals who have worked in a comparable business tend to thrive.

  • Strong systems skills; helpful if individual has used the same / similar financial system (particularly true for companies going through an implementation).

  • Excellent culture fit; every company differs but accounting teams tend to work quite closely together… must be reliable and accountable, to start.


Family Office

We offer an extensive network within the family office arena, both within single-family and multi-family offices. Candidates possess diverse experience across taxes, trust & estate planning, succession planning, and investment management. Often candidates have a CPA, Masters, and / or LLM.

Key considerations:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively when a myriad of tasks are on their plate; clients within a family office environment are accustomed to exceptional service.

  • Technical experience that matches closely with the opportunity; family office is a broad term. Responsibilities of the position must play to the candidate’s strengths.

  • History of progression and stability; turnover within family office clients is particularly disturbing to the business.
